Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to buy a party. By purchasing, you agree to these terms, the Privacy notice, and the Refund policy, which together are the whole agreement. The service is operated from the United States.
A private salon game
SuspectParty creates fictional, personalized party-game material for the group you name. It is entertainment - not a statement about real conduct, crime, or character. Every mystery is bloodless by design, the culprit is always a fictional role, and no tone setting adds gore or cruelty.
You must have a reasonable basis to believe every guest will enjoy taking part - the builder asks you to confirm this. Do not use the service to harass, defame, intimidate, or make real allegations about anyone.
Your inputs
You keep ownership of the names, traits, and inside jokes you provide. You give SuspectParty the limited license needed to generate and deliver your private kit - including sending those details to our AI text and image providers, who may not train their models on them.
Do not submit sensitive personal information (health, finances, government IDs), content about real crimes or disputes, discriminatory material, or details about minors unless the entire party is in Family mode with a parent or guardian's knowledge. Automated moderation screens inputs and we may decline to generate content that breaks these rules.
Generated game material
Your license covers private use for the purchased party: print copies for your guests, share the private links with them, and run the hosted experience for your event. Resale, public posting, or redistribution outside your party is not permitted.
The material is AI-generated fiction. It is not advice of any kind, and any resemblance between fictional roles and real events is coincidence shaped by the playful details you chose. If a character misses the mark, the included regeneration lets you recast it.
Payments and taxes
Purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions, processed by Stripe on its hosted checkout page. Prices are in US dollars. Where state or local law requires it, sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout by Stripe Tax and shown before you pay. Stripe sends the official receipt; card details never touch our servers.
Refunds
Our Refund policy is part of these terms: automatic full refund if generation fails, a no-questions refund before you download files or distribute guest links, and regeneration-first support after distribution. A processed refund closes guest links and file access.
Availability
We aim to deliver in minutes, but generation can fail; a failed generation triggers an automatic full refund without you asking. We may pause or cancel requests that are abusive, unsafe, or violate these terms, and we may take the service offline for maintenance. We are not responsible for outages of the third-party services we build on, though we choose them carefully.
Acceptable use and enforcement
All traffic passes through rate limiting and abuse protection. Attempting to access another party's data, probe tokens, overload the service, or automate purchases will get requests blocked and may void the order without refund where the abuse caused real cost or harm.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the amount you paid for the party giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain warranty or damages limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent your state's law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal claim, email us and give us 30 days to work it out - most issues are a refund or regeneration away.
If we cannot resolve it informally, you and SuspectParty agree to resolve the dispute through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or in small-claims court where your claim qualifies. Arbitration is one-on-one: class actions and jury trials are waived, and the arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement, without affecting anything else in these terms, by emailing support@suspectparty.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" within 30 days of your first purchase.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms materially, we update the date above; changes never apply retroactively to a party you already bought. Questions: support@suspectparty.com.
